Monocoque for racing car Le Mans

Designing the frame of a racing car. November 2016 – January 2017.

Project task: design racing car monocoque frame, align frame with customer’s external design surface.

The customer sent the approximate dimensions of the car’s monocoque and exterior design surface.

We fill the car with dummies and the selected engine Chevrolet LS7. We analyse the intersection with the outer surface.

We make edits, check the distance between the driver and the navigator.
